On October 18, 2017, the Sprint One Million project provided wireless devices to students who needed Wi-Fi access at home. The necessary requirements were that students had to be in ninth or tenth grade and they must complete a survey. The decision was made based on the responses given by the students. In result, they received 3 GB per month of high speed LTE data, free hotspot capability, unlimited talk and text, and children’s Internet Protection Act for free. Morgan, a ninth grade student interviewed,  received a device. She explained that the survey was ‘‘… really nice because the questions focused on what people needed.’’ A couple of the survey questions included follows: ”Do you have internet?” and “Do you own a device?” The devices provided were new, improved tablets. Morgan even mentioned she adores her device because it allows her to access Microsoft and complete her homework. The students of RCTCM give thanks to the Sprint One Million project for their generous donation.
